“Preventing Women’s Heart Disease” Presentation

CAROL For Heart, Inc. is a state and federally recognized 501C-3 non-profit organization. We educate women on the prevention of heart disease. Our mission is to eradicate women’s heart disease through increased awareness and education. 1 out of 4 women in the U.S. die from heart disease! Heart disease can be prevented. The more information women have about heart disease the more proactive they can be in their own heart health.

CFH was founded by the daughters and husband of Carol Pawelski who lost her life to extensive, undiagnosed heart disease at the age of 60. She was unaware of her risk for heart disease. The damage to her heart happened over the course of 20-30 years and could have been prevented. She is our inspiration to help other women learn more about the #1 killer of women in the U.S.

We would like to offer you the opportunity to host “Preventing Women’s Heart Disease”, a presentation by CAROL For Heart, Inc. This FREE presentation includes information about risk factors, heart attack symptoms women may experience, and suggestions for living a heart healthy life. Even the busiest women can fit our suggestions into their schedules. Our goal is to introduce this information to your group and provide more detailed information to take home and use as a reference tool.

We are able to customize the presentation to fit your needs such as: location, number of women in attendance (any size group is welcome from 5+) and time frame. The average program takes approximately 45-60 minutes but we can adapt the presentation to fit your schedule. A 2 hour in-service program is also available.  The information utilized in our presentation comes directly from the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the American Heart Association (AHA). We continually update our presentation as new facts and information become available.

Thank you for your interest in CAROL For Heart, Inc and we look forward to helping your group learn more about living a heart healthy life. Please feel free to contact us for more information or to set a date for your presentation.
